Who am I?
I am Gail, the founder of Moorish Idol Marketing. I live in south east London and drive a Hyundai i30.

Why marketing for financial advisers?
I have spent nearly 20 years (almost my entire career) in financial services marketing. I've been exposed to all facets of the industry, from public to private equity, from fund launches to crowdfunding – both here and overseas.
However, it has been working directly with the adviser that I have loved the most and found the most rewarding.
I truly believe you have the power to change peoples' lives for the better. And together, we have a responsibility in this profession to do more, to educate, engage and inform - I want to help you do this!
Why now?
Well, as so often with these things, I was made redundant! But I've always wanted to run my own business, so now seemed like the perfect time.

Supported hundreds of financial advice practices in the growth of their practices.
Sucessfully launched multiple funds, products and initatives from unit trusts and VCTs, to exclusive client loyalty programmes and events.
Launched Sanlam Private Wealth to the UK market (now Atmos) in 2012.
Pioneered an international secondment programme, spending a few years working in Cape Town.
Ran the headline sponsorship of Saracens Rugby Club 2012-2014.
Career highlights
I love anything to do with water - swimming, diving, snorkelling, etc. I swim through winter in an outdoor lido, I haven't quite become Wim Hof – I stick to a heated lido!
When things permit, I love to travel (above ground as well as underwater) and explore.
I am a keen reader, big music fan, walking enthusiast, bad golfer and foodie.
